This is pretty much what it looks like to play with Kismet several times a day!

I couldn't record at night because the lighting is terrible, so I took advantage of a small spurt of midday energy. She usually runs and jumps up the wall 5 or 6 times to catch the mouse before I switch over to the little cap. What's not seen on video is me going and retrieving the cap and tossing back in the camera's direction for her to run back after. Because no one needs to see me in my fuzzy pink robe.

She'll run the length of the apartment back and forth a couple dozen times and then start panting. She gets lazy this time, but at night she's nuts. She'll meow and beg to be played with like this a few times a day. Seeing her pant is so rewarding!

Too funny!  Looks like she has a lot of fun (and a lot of places to chase things!).  Beautiful kitty.

He looks lean and strong.

Your apartment looks like mine.  Half my stuff, half kitty stuff

Thanks, she's a riot!

@Lokhismom, that's pretty much how it is with all the pets! I'm sure if I didn't have a brief online clothes shopping problem in the past, the cats and birds would have 70% of the stuff in my home.

Fun videos!
Thank you for sharing.   Mouse was the other way round, he started with the fetch then learned I was daft enough to bring it back if he didn't...
Now he sits and watches humans play with his toys and I swear you can hear him laugh while he watches.
How does Kismet manage not to stop rather than skid along the floor and hit the walls?

Haha, that's so funny.

She's pretty well controlled on the parquet floors! She slides sometimes, but especially when she's chasing she tends to catch herself! There are other times, however, when she gets distracted and just runs face first into the wall... That's my cat!

Mo is the opposite... if I do so much as step towards him when he's feeling frisky, he spends a good second to 1.5 seconds skidding in the same spot before he manages to get some traction and take off. Like a doofy cartoon cat.
