Hi, I took my cat to the vet after she's been suffering from continuos eye inflammation and the dr diagnosed her with ear mites and she's been treated with ear cleaning liquid and had a couple of shots one on the back leg and one between her shoulders right behind her neck. She also got some kind of tablets where I should give her half a tablet in the morning and another half in the evening. Ever since I brought her home she's been very drowsy and can hardly walk or balance. She can barely climb the litter box so she started urinating everywhere even while she's walking. She used to eat dry food but now she stopped so I bought her wet food and she started eating again but I haven't seen her leave any traces of feces which is making me very concerned. She's been like this for the third day now, could it be possible that the pills are making her lose balance and very drowsy as she is?

Here's how my cat looks like after the treatment.

I have no idea what's wrong with her. The problem is that the vet is closed for the past few days because of local holidays and they won't open until tomorrow morning.

Any advice, please!

Wow, she's really struggling to walk there. I would be very concerned that this has been going on for 3 days now.
Can you tell us the name of the pills and the shots she was given?

I'm not familiar with neither the shots she was given nor the pills. The vet bill has two things written on it which are: oculosan eye drops and +20 ket. The pills are small round pills with nothing written on them. They are in a plain plastic bag.

I just came from the vet. Turns out she was prescribed ketoconazole and she developed allergic reaction to the medication. She is now suffering from dehydration, nausea, dizziness and loss of appetite. The vet also suspects nerve damage because she doesn't react to movement, her eyes only react to light, and liver damage caused by dose of the medication but can't determin anything until her results are out. I have to keep her there for two days and wait while hoping for the best. :(
