My 6 month old kitten has always accumulated a little bit of gunk in his eyes; usually its a yellowish-brownish color. The vet has never commented on it during any of my kitten's visits, so I just assumed it's nothing to worry about. Lately though his eyes have been especially goopy and never clear, even if I clean them multiple times a day. His eyes look fine otherwise and he isn't showing any signs of illness, so I'm wondering what might be causing it. Is there something that could be done about it, or will his eyes always be like this? It'd be nice to at least minimize the amount of eye discharge, I'm really tired of having to clean his eyes so much, and so is he!
