I've only given him the Pride duck but I guess I'll go with the lamb as well.      I did try the Merrick beef pate once and he didn't finish it.   Not sure if it was the brand or maybe he's just not a great fan of beef.  He wasn't too enthusiastic about NV Instinct beef either.    Merrick has a duck so its between Natural Balance Duck and Merrick Duck.  I think Merrick throws in chicken in theirs but Natural Balance does not.   Blue Buffalo has a duck but they throw in potatoes in theirs.  Ugh

I swear I read the ingredients on cat food more than I do mine :lol3:
It's not unusual for some cats to not like beef, fish, lamb.[emoji]128032[/emoji][emoji]128031[/emoji][emoji]128032[/emoji][emoji]128031[/emoji][emoji]128003[/emoji][emoji]128003[/emoji][emoji]128002[/emoji][emoji]128002[/emoji]

I bought several of the canned foods that I read on these posts. I went to Pet smart and bought individual can of the brands and flavors in the rotations described here. For now I am going to keep Trinity on the FF Classic since she is  finally eating can. I don't want to press my luck with her. But my other 2 kitties

i will start to rotate. I wrote all the foods down so I can keep track of who eats what. Then I will decide the final rotation. I think FF Classic and kitten will always be included since it is easy to find and relatively inexpensive.

We picked up about 4 cans today of different brands to add to Mikki's FF Classic. We'll see how it goes tomorrow when I try one out!
Part of me is kinda hoping there's something in the FF that is causing the skin scabs on her back and if we switch foods it will go away..but I think that's wishful thinking. It'll be good to throw in a few of the higher end foods for her.

Could it be feline acne or flea allergy, do you put flea drops between her shoulder blades? Feline acne is from plastic food bowls or deep metal bowls. Ceramic bowls changed daily are best. Some people even use paper plates and throw away. Try flea drops and try grain free limited ingredient food like maybe pride or natures variety rabbit.

I would try revolution drops (covers everything) ask vet about her anal glands, sometimes cats with impacted glands get back scabs, perhaps he could empty them. I would then dry diet change and perhaps an antihistamine from vet.

My cat is a pig and loves to eat everything with gusto:

Home cooked whole chickens with organs, bones and a pinch of ground and cooked mixed veggies mixed in = use it as a higher quality and more nutritious food to mix in with his canned

Human food meat of all types  = every time I cook I reserve some of the meat for him

Sheba pate canned = All Meat

Nutro natural Choice canned = I find good deals at Big Lots when they get it in with cheap prices

Trader Joes canned = Contains some carbs, good price

Trader Joes cat tuna canned = great price

Core canned = When I feel like overspending on a designer label

Simply Nourish dry = He eats this for snacks so I keep him used to dry food for when we leave town overnight and leave dry out

Friskies chicken, chicken and cheese and I think beef. As well as Costco dry. Monster purple bag of dry. We keep a big thing of water that refills the bowl as they drink. We fill it 2-3 times.

I have changed my cats dry food a lot. I do not feed wet food all the time anymore. When I do it is Friskies with gravy the beef or the chicken. I can not stomach feeding him pate because of what it looks like and how it smells. If I do he gets the whole can.

As a kitten he was fed purina kitten chow at first.

Then I went to Iams and finally switched to science diet.

He used to be on Taste of the wild the green bag. Then I could not afford it in the quantity my family was feeding so I switched to meow mix crunchy centers. I am just getting done feeding him Purina naturals with Pro Plan Chicken formula. My cat eats most stuff put in front of him. He gets sweet potato and pumpkin occasionally. Along with squash baby food. He is an indoor outdoor cat who loves running around outside. Most days thats where he is. Comes in at night and goes out when we let him in the morning with the occasional snack for lunch and a nap. If I could afford it I would buy him wet more often but its not feasable right now and my parents also feed him so its easier on them to feed dry. But occasionally he gets spoiled.

I alternating foods purchased from Hare Today with homemade chicken and turkey. I keep a bag of primal raw around and have a bag of freeze-dried.

I keep cans of Wild Calling in the pantry just in case there comes a day when I have to ask a neighbor to give my cats a meal.

I don't rotate that much, but I think its a good idea! She likes most Friskies pate canned, what I feed her most of the time, and is eating Iams dry food, and starting on Wellness dry. She used to like Iams wet food but doesn't seem to like it aymore. I give her a different Friskies canned food everyday tho, (ie. one day turkey, the next poultry, the next salmon, etc.) (hope thats not too fast!)and slowly adding on three more flavors Her treats are more varied than her regular food tho! She likes pretty much any kind of treats, including raw meat in small amounts as treats, (shrimp makes her sick and she can't have any bacon as it made her sick last time, tho that may have been because she snagged some before I realized what was going on, thought she was eating her dry food) tho I never thought of adjusting her to them slowly for some reason till now, tho I do it with regular canned and especially dry food. She likes "bunny" treats, Greenies, bonita flakes, Friskies(of course), and everyday, I give her two hairball treats. I swear some days shes like a fur factory!!
