As horrible as it sounds, I finally got round to taking mango to the vet today. With our other cat who as been in the vets on average of every 2-3weeks since April, poor mango had taken a back seat. So today I took her for a thorough look over because she's been having bloody poop sometimes. Anyhow, the vet discovered she was flea allergy dermatitis and started her on clindamycin and prednisolone to calm the itching. She also prescribed her Comfortis to help combat the fleas and dermatitis. she seems to think that the poop issue is somehow related to the flea infestation. She is also ordering royal canin food for sensitive stomachs to see if that will help too.
I feel so bad that I left it so long and I hope Mango starts to feel a bit brighter soon!

Don't beat yourself up.  I have done the same thing with my healthy kitty.  It's easy to focus on the sick, or in my case chronically ill kitty and let things go with the healthy kitty.  In my case my healthy kitty was in dire need of a dental and was in pain.  Kitties are so good at hiding pain.
