Have you guys ever experienced this with your Cat?

I recently bought a persian kitten from a local breeder (I think she's not a pure breed Persian cat but it's alright I love her anyway!).

They were feeding her Princess Dry food from Eukanaba but I immediately switched her to Merrick after I read some of the posts here on how bad commercial junk food is for our cats.
She had diarrhea because of the sudden switch of food (sorry! I know I should have done it gradually) but she got better after a few days.

Now that we've started introducing treats to her, I noticed her stool has become soft again.  A mix of hard and soft stool.

Is this normal when you're giving your cats treats? or should I stop giving her Pounce treats?

We were giving her 2-4 treats a day.

Would love to hear your thought on this!

If you think the treats are connected then the first thing to do is stop giving the treats and see how she responds.  Has she been evaluated by a vet?  All kittens have worms, and depending on her history she needs de-worming, vaccinating, and testing for fiv/Felv.

A  first vet visit should be accompanied by a stool sample.

Are they hairball treats? Hairball treats are not good. They are intended for hairballs only and not day-to-day. Most hairball treats have very bad reviews and shouldn't be used at all IMO.

Yes, i took her to the vet the day after I got her and she has received her first feline vaccine shot and first dose of deworming.

It's not a hairball treat though. Just an ordinary tuna flavor cat treat.
I'm getting rid of it now. Hopefully, she won't have soft stool anymore.

Thank you all for your input! I appreciate it a lot! :)
