My girl already has a nickname kinda name, Kiki, but I sometimes shorten it to kik, or of course baby girl, but I don't thing I really call her anything else..lol

Or he gets his rescue centre name, Cylde if he is being a bit of a feral.
My poor rescue had three different names at the shelter. He went from Quetzalcoatl at intake to Chewbacca in quarantine to Quantum with his foster mom. 
You'd think a shelter would understand that cats do much better learning their names if they aren't so multi-syllabic:confused:

Frederik understands his name. But yes i agree keep it simple, re-use names of the cats that have left
