Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone here is really good with embroiding a logo onto leather?

I am looking to get the Volkswagen logo stitched in white onto my black leather headrests. Can anyone here do this with confidence? I would just take the leather covers off and mail them to you. Here is the logo for anyone who doesn't know. I want it in white though.

I'd consider myself good with needle and thread, but there's no way I could tackle that job with confidence.....aieeeeee....would be over my head, I'm afraid. I've done all kinds of logos in appilque, just not in embroidery, or on leather. hmmm, could embroider it, then attatch it to the leather.
Crap ! Now you've got my creative dander up. I hate things that I don't think I can do, I usually wind up doing them just to prove I can! How big do you want the logo, and could it wait until after Christmas?

I can wait till next year sure
No big rush. Basiclly where you see blue, it would be white stich. The rest you would leave as the leather. As for the size, I think the size I posted would be about right.

Sounds good, the only reason I said after Christmas is that I seem to have worked myself into a bind w/several projects that need to be finished before then ( gifts and such). If you find someone else who can before then, just let me know.

I can't help you but just wondering what kind of VW do you have? My husband and I own 6 VW's! 2 1970 Beetles, 1973 Fastback, 1984 Vanagon, 1985 Vanagon and a 2001 New Beetle!

OMG that's soooo sweet. I love meeting VW fans. I have a 1992 Golf gl, a 1992 Corrado G60 and a 2003 4 door golf that I swapped a Vr6 into.

My gf and I are heavy modders so we take care of our babies

I think you should spend sometime on www.vwvortex.com forums, it's the place to be for VW modders and lovers. Did you go to waterfest this year?
