Cookie & Olie new pics

They are both very cute! I especially like Olie. My goodness I see lots of pictures have been posted in the Fur Pictures forum since I had my surgery.... I have lots of catching up to do! But I can only seem to look at a few threads at a time then I have to go lay down.

Sam , I have with some cats . I let more differend cats in my bedroom now and so far so good . Olie was twice out , the first time he only went down the hallway to sniff it out and went back a few days ago . Today I let them both out Cookie and Olie . Cookie went down the hallway and bathroom and back into the bedroom . I also want to wait with him a little longer or really have time to superwise him due to his ulcer in his eye . Olie went all the way to the livingroom today and sniffed all out and went back in to the bedroom . My other kitties were ok , some were hissing and some don't . Malachi the big boy had the case of the butt and did not like Olie a bit . He went into the threatning position with his growling and head up down position , ear back like kind of I will kick your butt right now lol . But I don't worry with Olie , he is also a butt kicker so it would be a fear fight between them . I would worry about Cookie now , but Malachi has not hissed or growl at him at all . I think Olie is more a alfa cat and Malachi knows that . Well maybe every day a little bit and I will see how it goes

Just wanted to up date a little .

Olie is out of the bedroom for sure . He like the cat enclosure and spent most of the time there . I don't think he was much of a people person befor he come to me . Comming from a breeder ( not all breeders like that ) he must not had a lot of attention from the breeder or any people . But Olie seems to be happy and very happy that he can go into the cat enclosure . Every now and then he come in to my bedroom , but will not stay long there . He is very beautifull and to bad he is not a snuggle cat . But he come and want to be petted at times and unter his contition and only then . Olie is also a fighter ( not agressive )and has already his rang by the other cats . Some cats will stay for sure out of his way , well he also is a big boy .
Cookie is also warming up a lot , he is my cat . I love that guy and has a real cute meow . I am partial to red btw and like their personality in red cats , also torties and calico's . Cookie still has a problem with his eye and looks still kind of like a film over his eye . I notice that he also snizzes (sp) here and there . I hope to go to the vet with him and Ginger by next week . I do play with a wand with him and he like that . He is still in my bedroom , it is easy on me giving him the meds for his eye . I don't want him to get hurt in his eye again and want to wait letting him out . Besite that , Cookie is a very sweet guy and like the petting session we have together . He also don't mind me combing him for a while , what I can't say about Olie .

OMG That is soooo funny and so descriptive I could just picture it! It is so wonderful to read your update and hear how nicely they're coming along with you and your other cats. I hope there'll be more progress with poor Cookie, hope the vet visit goes well.

I got a few pics of Olie and only one of Cookie . Olie is doing great and I have notice that he like to be petted more . Maybe it took him longer to trust people . Cookie is a sweatheart and for sure my boy . He is still in the bedroom and really want to come out there , he wants to know what is going on all the time out of the bedroom . I will call on monday for a vet visit for wednesday late afternoon . My friend Iris will drive me to the vet and will bring Cookie and Ginger there for follow up check up . I think after that I will start letting Cookie out of the bedroom , it is time for him to explore

Heidi, they are adorable! Great pictures! I didn´t see Cookie and Olie in your signature, but I saw Ginger there. Are Cookie and Olie "new" arrivals? (Sorry, I may have missed a thread telling this )

Vettech I have 19 insite cats and 5 outdoor cats

Pollyanna I cant fit all cats in my sigi , only 16 will fit there . Thats why you wont see all of my babies there .Yes Cookie and Olie are new arrivals from a rescue group on pure breeds . I wanted one more Shelkirk Rex cat and the more I tought about cats in need of a home I fellt that it would be better to get one long hair cat from a rescue and not from a breeder . It just happen that I fell in love with both cats and they needet soon a home .Both cats were scared to death of the foster parents little children . Olie come from a breeder , who died of canser and a friend placed all the cats in rescue befor she/he died . Cookie's owner were found death in the home and discovered Cookie behind the fridge .

Your cats are so cute, Cookie looks like a sweety, I like the color of Cookies fur. It looks like you have a great place for them to play. I notice that in the picture you have of Ginger.
