This is a new addition to our go to cat food store (Canada). As others have mentioned it is incredibly expensive (3 lbs for $30). I have mixed with our usual Orijen dry food. Our 3 cats have so far eaten it w/o question.
Yeah I think if I was using this as my cats main source of food it would be prohibitively expensive to buy, but since I use it only a supplementary feeding between meals it actually lasts for almost two months. 30$ for two months is pretty fair in my book but I got really lucky hahaha.

I find most cats like nutro natural choice chunky chicken loaf and pride rockstar rabbit and Merrick duck or chicken pate. If they like white meat shreds Weruva or tiki cat puka luau.

I am still trying to upgrade my 3 cats' diets.  They are siblings, but they do not always agree on food.  I am trying to find some that work for all.

Right now, they are getting 85-90% wet.  Two of mine hack up huge hair balls daily with carrageenan in the wet, so that limits choices.  Also, with the exception of Weruva in several varieties (poultry and beef so far) which I have to cut up, they will only eat pate style foods, which again limits choices.  After much trial, I have found they like Nutro Chicken Loaf, Weruva (Paw Licken Chicken, Quick and Quirky, and a few others), and just recently, I tried the Purina Beyond grain-free Chicken and Sweet potato, which they all loved. They also are still eating Fancy Feast Classic Turkey.  I am not thrilled with the by-products, but it is the food we are upgrading from, and up until a week ago, all they would eat was that and the Weruva (and I worried about enough calories there without something else in rotation).  I do have 3 cans of NV Instinct I picked up.  I am hoping they will like it.

Right now, due to a digestive upset with one of my cats, they are eating Natural Balance LID chicken and pea dry to have a little dry, but I am considering at least seeing if my local store has samples of the Orijen, since it is getting good reviews here.  My cats would likely love this Waggers Tender Moist stuff.  Maybe the store will have samples of it.

Too bad there was not a treasure map in there.  We could all use one.  Oh, my whole family thinks my cats eat better than we do, but I would rather spend a bit more on their food than go to the vet and plunk down hundreds in 30 minutes. I am hoping improving their diet keeps them from needing the vet too many times in their lives.

Well, according to the store locator on their site, the only 2 stores near me that carry it are not actually very near me.  Too bad, since it seems like a pretty limited ingredient food, which actually appeals to me.

Do pet stores in America not deliver? They do here.
I can't get most of the foods you get.
I free feed my two GO cereal free and a can a day of OK which have mixtures of pate and chunks in gravy. They get their wet food before bed and don't let me forget it. As soon as I swith the TV off the meowing starts. Little lovelies.

Yeah I have no pet stores in the area that carry it yet, I just order it online. Let me know if you want any of the links where I found it :) . I've found that I actually don't mind having it delivered to me, saves me from having to put on pants or socialize with people hehehehe

This food is AWESOME...it's perfect food if you cat likes dry food but it has all the water a cat needs within the moist pellets...and no grain..nothing terrible in this food at all.  My two kitties are now entirely off dry food, which is not good for them...as it tends to create bladder stones and such..So I am very happy that this food showed up on the scene!

I have 2 purebred 6 year old Siamese cats. I have a saying about purebreds; they breed the "health" out of them. In spite of negative breeding strategies, I bought and adore these extremely intelligent, vocal and yes, needy creatures. They both have been eating "Young Again" dry kibble for 5 years. We switched from "Taste of the Wild" because one of the cats had developed goopy eyes after switching from the "bad" food the breeder was feeding them. On the third day his energy doubled and eyes cleared up. In the last year the more sensitive cat began barfing about 2-3 times a week so I started researching to find a replacement, thinking that a moist kibble might digest better after our vet determined that he is fine, it's the food. Raw diets are what cat experts recommend but are often expensive and a hassle so I researched. I think Young Again is great but any dry kibble can be problematic. 2 months ago I found Waggers Chicken recipe and it appears that it is good food. I free feed and put it out with the other dry food and the sensitive cat took to the new moist food immediately. He has not barfed once since starting the new food and seems just fine. The other cat still eats the Young Again dry food and is fine.

A side note: Because cats generally don't drink enough water to meet daily requirements, I wanted to add a canned food to add moisture to their diet and tried MANY of the "good" canned foods but they hate them all. I found a canned food they like, Purina Pro Plan beef, carrots and rice. Our vet, who we trust completely, says the Purina is not great but not that bad either, and as long as we primarily feed a really good main food, we should be fine. ** In the old days before cat food enlightenment, I had a cat that lived 20 years on Friskies or Nine Lives food or whatever it was that was lousy grain based food.

Bottom line is that pet food manufacturers can and will say anything they want about their food so your individual research is the most important thing you can do. Then try one you think you can trust. I don't like the "mixing" schedule you're supposed to do to change over a food so with the Waggers food I simply put a plate down next to the other food and this has worked out. No barfing, no stool problems, no other issues. This could be because they were already eating a good food. We'll find out as time goes on and I'll write again on this blog if I see any negative changes or problems, but it seems that the Waggers is good cat food.

It's funny that I'm trying to find info on the same thing.  I can't get on the Wagger's website though.  I really want to try it too.  If you do, please post here and let me know how your fuzzy friends did with it.  I might be buying it soon after I compare prices online.

Good luck my cat friend.

New information October 2016. One of my cats gained a whopping 3 pounds after 6 months on this food so I stopped immediately. After a  lot of research I determined that there is not an acceptable semi-moist cat food so I switched to Orijen dry food and he is losing weight. Don't feed your cats Waggers TenderMoist!!

My cats both ended up getting terrible food poisoning from this food so we quickly gave it up a couple years ago. Don't feed it!

Karen, I have been researching cat foods for well over 10 years now. It is a daunting task and it is so confusing on who and what to believe. I believe it comes down to consumer education through research, intelligent analysis, and your cats reaction to the food. I research like crazy, yet made a big mistake with the Waggers TenderMoist.  There wasn't much to go on so I tried it and the weight gain tells me it was a terrible choice, my fault. Orijen looks like a good dry food choice, but only time will tell. Try these for a start: http://petfoodrecall.org/ , http://www.reviews.com/cat-food/ , and pet advocate Susan Thixton's http://truthaboutpetfood.com/.  I'd like to know what you come up with. Best of Luck! Kirbster
