Geez, I did a double-take at the first pic..... thought they were siamese-twins joined at the belly.

They`re adorable.

  Cute and cuddly boys.
They are very sweet and it sound like they are managing to find ways to snuggle up and feel secure, be it with each other, with you, or with that lovely little canine I see Doctor is doing his best to look like. LoL.  Have his little meows started to sound more like barks this past week or two?  They look and sound beautiful and I am sure you will see endless gifts from Morticia in their individual personalities as they grow.  I look forward to hearing how they progress.  Fingers all crossed for your little guys doing well in this world.  They certainly have a loving home and that is a great start.

What beautiful boys! So glad you checked in.
You could always call him "Mr. Astrid". One came with a boys name, so she is Ms. Mew and my Angel kitty was Ms. Milo girl or Ms. Milo. :D

Someone is just like his mommy. Poor puppy hasn't had one day to eat his own food. Not since we got Morticia anyways.

lol Yeah poor Token. At least I know I have a good dog!
I think she is more than good going by how she allows little Doctor to snuggle in and suckle too.
She is fabulous and deserves a golden scoop award at the very least.
I am sure you give her lots of pampering to show her how wonderful she is.

Lol you have my dogs confused. Missy Mae (the one doctor keeps trying to nurse on) is very sweet. Though she doesn’t like to share her food like Token who is pictured. Token kept trying to get Astrid to stop eating his food the only way he knew how, by licking her. And then there is Tate. He is okay with them. Being a terrier it is very hard for him to distinguish between kitten and rat. So we do have to watch him. He is the funniest when it comes to the food. If he is eating and one of the kitten comes up then he backs up sits down and then barks at them. They really are all amazing, though I think Token takes the cake! He is the one who brings me baby birds who have fallen out of the nest, or frogs in the river. Of course when he brings them to me they are alive.

Silly me, so many dogs and so many kittens all in one household!  My apologies.  Of course Missie Mae curled up with Doctor doesn't look anything like Token at the food bowl!  Very silly me.
Reminder to self - only post when awake and eyes are open.

I think it is time for an update. The boys are almost 12 weeks! I can't believe how fast time has gone. I started letting them explore a little outside when I am out there to watch them. Doctor likes to climb trees already (even though I yell at him and chase him down), at least he can get down himself. Mouse and Astrid just love to run around and climb up on the car tires (much to my dismay). They are getting even bigger and they remind me more and more about Baby Kitty everyday. Doctor still tries to nurse on Missy Mae. They eat everything. For the most part if I drop anything they all swarm it and try to eat it. They will be going to the vet soon for a check up. I think that's all for now.

I love that image of a kitty swarm.
Thank you so much for the update.  I hope your poor puppy is getting a little more peace to eat these days and the kittens aren't swarming in on the dog food too.

Yeah sometimes I wonder what I have gotten myself into, but in the end I wouldn't change any of it. Token still get his food stolen sometimes though not as bad as before. Just a few minuets ago I gave him some uneaten toast with jam, he dropped it on the floor so that he could la down to eat it and Astrid started licking the jam off. lol I don't know when my poor dog will learn that just licking the kitten wont get him to stop eating his treats.

I'm thinking these little guys are not lacking in confidence.
It's great that your dogs are so tolerant, other wise you would be constantly on edge worrying about the little ones, though I doubt they are so little now, esp on a diet of dog food and jam on toast on top of their kitty chow.  Fur families are excellent for keeping us grounded and on our toes and at the same time giving us no end of laughs and smiles.  It sounds like you have a great fur family there.

I know. I am so glad that my dogs are tolerant enough. I really couldn't be happier with my furry family! Though of course I could always add more!

Okay I have a question. Recently Doctor has been sucking on one of my pillows and a bear that I have on my bed. I can't seem to get him to stop. Even if I put it under my blankets it doesn't stop him. I am starting to think he was really not ready to be weaned. He is the one that keeps trying to nurse on our dog. So I guess my question is does anyone know how I can get him to stop?

This is something a lot of cats will do, but I don't know any way to stop them.  The people I know, and comments in other threads about this, talk about the cat having a 'lovie', some cuddly toy or little blanket that they can have as their own and use like a child would use a security blanket.  Some stop in their own time and others will do this their whole life:  one of my friends' 15 or 16 year old cat has a little toy and knitted blanket he still kneads and suckles.

Doctor was weaned because Morticia knew in her heart that he needed to be along with her other babies,  not because some human had decided to take her kittens away from her.  He is still little and may well stop of his own choosing, but if he doesn't he  has many precious cats who do just as he does.  I hope you can find something you are happy for him to nurse on and that he likes too.  Nursing on these objects is probably better than continuing with Missie Mae in the longer term.

Well it is nice to know that my cat is not the only one who does it. Mouse does it sometimes but I haven't seen Astrid do it at all. I haven't found anything he likes other than my blanket and bear. Morticia hadn't fully weaned any of the kittens. I mean not fully. I decided that it would be best if I just let him suckle as much as he wants on my pillow. Last night he suckled on it for about 30 minuets before he stopped, then sometime in the wee hours of the night he did it again. But I just decided to let him do it until his hearts content.

Long ago, our first bunch (3) of kittens, the biggest of the 3, the only male, loved to suck ppl's ears. Esp my husband's but would go for anyone. He did it until he passed away at 13. If no ear, ge tried for your punkie or small toes lol. RIP Maxie-pie.
