Spayed Stray got away, need help getting her back

I trapped a female with four kittens.  We thought there was another one so used her to lure kitten.  She got out of the carrier and ran.  She is friendly so I'm hoping she will come back.  Any ideas?

I would start putting her food in a humane trapped that is tied open. Do this for a few days to a week. Once she shows back up (and chances are she will, especially if you have the kittens), you can continue to feed her at a set schedule until you are ready to trap her.

This is going to take a lot of patience. She was frightened but may not be too frightened to return.

BTW, I wouldn't leave the trap out overnight. This will attrack raccoons and possums. Set it up at dawn and dusk - these are the times she will most likely return, at least at first.
