Rick is a huge Tasmanian Devil fan and every year I buy him his Taz tree ornament. We did a bit of shopping last night; many stores have already started decorating for Christmas. We were at Hallmark to get his mom a birthday card and I needed a birthday card for a GF. They had some of their tree ornaments out, so I grabbed the new Taz to tuck into Rick's stocking. I can't believe I bought my first Christmas present already.

What I really can't believe is that they are decorating for Christmas already! Lowes has some of their trees up, their inflatables are inflated and they have lights and ornaments out. While the mall itself isn't decorated yet, some of the individual stores are starting to decorate. We went into the Boscov's to look at their trees and they're not all up yet. But they were working on them.

It's not even Halloween! We haven't even bought our Halloween candy!

I have a few presents bought too. I do it throughout the year as I find things on sale. I wrap them and keep a notebook with a list so I don't forget what is in the boxes.

I finished my Christmas shopping already!
But yea- I wish stores would wait until after Halloween to start decorating and selling Christmas stuff! Too early!

i've got christmas gifts planned.

i bought some of snick's first christmas gifts for this year already, more will be bought coming up. i'll be buying jasper his own christmas stocking too, snick has one so he should have one too. and some gifts for jasper too.

i plan on baking a loaf of oatmeal applesauce bread and banana walnut blondies, and adding jars of (yet to be made/canned) apple butter bbq sauce and blueberry jam and an itunes gift card for my brother and his family.

for my mom and aunt (they live together now, they're twins), i'll send them a barnes and noble gift card and a loaf of my homemade banana bread.

and i'll probably give one of my best friends a gift card.

for several neighbors, i'll bake some blondies or peanut butter brownies or such.

After I bought many of my presents last year, some in my family decided they wanted to draw names instead. That didn't end up happening, but I am reluctant to buy too much in case that suddenly gets sprung in me again. I do have a few small gifts tucked away for others though,. :)

I have DD's presents picked out but not bought yet.I bought Lilith and Sophie beds. I found them on sale at Kohl's for $15.99 each. They had a 20% off code plus I had $25.00 in Kohl's cash so after that and even with shipping added on, they cost me $6.70 each. My Kohl's cash was about to expire so I really couldn't pass them up. Hopefully they like them. They didn't use the last ones I got them so they went back to the store but those were more expensive. If they don't like these, I will wash them and bring them to the Humane Society for the shelter cats to enjoy during their stay. I got 2 of the green ones.

I usually start shopping on Walmart.com for my daughter in October but haven't stared yet this year. I love shopping for her online it is so much easier.
