I don't know much about pregnant cats, but based on this article, eight days to be producing milk is a long time. Are you sure it's milk and not colostrum?
Here is a thread about milk.
Do you have ANY idea when she became pregnant? Is she showing any other signs of impending delivery?
What does the vet say?

How long had you felt the kittens move?   You feel them at least two weeks before delivery.

Do you still feel them move?  The last day of pregnancy, when they go down to the birthing postition, you dont feel them as much.  And also, they are further down...

And also, the chances are its nothing dangerous as far as she herself seems to be OK, not troubled:  cats manage a little too long pregnancy better than humans.

While they dont manage well premature deliveries - thus, a emergency cesarean made too early, saves the mom, all right, but may kill the kittens, or at least, leave them as weak prematures, with lotsa uphill fight to save them.

Good luck!  @binxtbob
