I haven't been here for a while for those who have read my other posts. I have a question. I think my six year old female cat has another UTI. She had one about a year and a half ago. We took her to the vet he did a test, prescribed a medicine and it didn't work. We took her back two days later and he gave us a different medicine that worked. I never found out for sure if it was a UTI. I just know the symptoms. She is dashing in and out ofthe littler box a lot. She will cme in from outside (inside/outside cat) to use the box then want back out to use the dirt. She will do this repeatedly, until something happens to break the cycle. Most of the time she will go to sleep or get scared off to hide somewhere. She is eating and drinkinf as normal. Her food hasn't changed. She is just using the litter box much more frequently than usual. Any thoughts?

It is my birthday, but this doesn't have to do with my question. It just looks cool.

If she is drinking more water than normal and is overweight, it could also be diabetes. But either way, she needs to go to the vet and be checked out. She could have FLUTD

I don't think she is over weight. She is only eleven pounds. She is also not that compact. When I gave her a bath over the summer (she got fleas some how) she was a fine weight for her size. She isn't drinking any more than normal. I will take her to the vet, but I was just wondering what people thought about the symptoms.
