Hi guys, I recently rescued 2 male kittens, they are now about 10 weeks old, my 5 year old cat accepted them right away, but about a day ago when the kittens are playing and acting crazy, my adult cat goes and grabs them by the top of their neck and brings one by one to the room, while he does that he makes weird noises too. Should I be concern about his behavior? Or am I overreacting again?

It sounds like he was putting them in time-out!

I have heard of male cats who become very nurturing to kittens.  This may be the case in your house.

So nothing to worry about it? It's just my adult cat is big and I'm afraid he will hurt the kittens.

I understand your concern as male cats can be a worry around kittens, but yours are 10 weeks old and he's been so good with them.

The way he's picking them up and carrying them sounds quite 'motherly' and since he's got on really well with them so far, I think he's doing what Mooch said.
