My family and I recently got a new cat he has worms... I was so taken back by the sight I hurried up and gave him some over the counter dewormer (piperazine) Well he threw it along with some round worms a couple of minutes later. I don't think it had time to get in his system. I got him some Revolution dewormed. How long should I wait to give him the Revolution, given that he threw up the other dewormer? I feel bad he is a indoor cat and I have keep him away from my kids until we get this under control. Please help!!!

Well it looks like on their website in the part about the full medical information, the dewormer was tested on cats that were also receiving other treatments and they were fine, so I would say that your cat will be fine with it. Poor baby! Barfing up worms does NOT sound fun...

I would say get your cat to the vet ASAP. If he is not throwing up worms on his own because he is violently ill he will be soon. Once they get so bad they are in their upper go tract professional help is needed. He may be dehydrated and needs fluids this isn't something is handle on my own.
