I recently made a batch of raw quail w/bone and she isn't really interested. I've been feeding her raw for a few months now and she really loves the blue ridge beef turkey w/bone and kitten mix. She's had 3 feedings so far with the quail and barely touches it. I've read that you should rotate your proteins but I'm somewhat limited with the blue ridge beef brand. Is there anything I can add to interest her more in the quail or should I just stick with the turkey w/bone and kitten mix?

Also while I'm here, any feedback on my recipe would be and awesome help! I've researched a lot on raw recipes but I'm still fairly new to making it myself and I want to make sure my kitty is getting a good meal! =)

2lbs turkey w/bone (or another protein)

2 egg yolks

3000mg fish oil

400 IU vitamin E

1 capsule Vitamin B-complex 50 (w/300mcg biotin)

2000mg tuarine

3/4tsp lite salt

7oz heart/4oz liver

1/3 cup spring water

Welcome to The Cat Site!
I fed prey model raw so can't help you with your receipe.
But regarding how to get your cat interested in quail: mix a tiny bit of the quail mixture into the turkey mixture; increase the proportion as (hopefully!) your kitty decides to like the quail.
How did you transition your kitten to raw? Maybe follow the same protocol.

I feed Primal Grinds and add supplements. I am lazy and unsure of measuring correct amounts of supplements so I just buy the Alnutrin and add that. As far as getting your cat to eat new foods I find a little Purina Fortiflora sprinkled on in would get a cat to eat anything.I have read that some people use Parmesan Cheese.

If you've been feeding the same food every day for months, your kitty may be fixated on that one food already.  If that's the situation, she may not take readily to anything else.  I second Ritz's suggestion to mix a bit of quail into the turkey food, then gradually increase it.  You might also try another protein that most cats like, e.g. rabbit or pork.

Variety is important for nutritional reasons, and also because if you have a cat that's fixed on one food and then that food suddenly changes formula or becomes unavailable, you'd have a real problem on your hands. I switch foods every day and get as many proteins as I can.  So far, my cats will pretty much eat anything.  I just gave them venison for the first time and they didn't hesitate.  I remember reading Auntie Crazy's wonderful transition story, where she theorized that her cats took to raw so easily because she varied her cat's food every day and gave them lots of different meats and textures.
