Bella, spayed, 6.5 months old, is a biter. If she doesn't want to get down from somewhere and you reach for her, she'll bite. If you pet her and she's had enough, no warning...she'll bite. Help!
My female cat was a rescue cat so much older than yours. Every time I went to pick her up she would try and bite me sometimes drawing blood. I had two cats from kittens and had no problems with either of them so this was new to me. I looked up info on the internet and it says smacking instills fear so they recommend that when they bite you you should squeel and then leave then on their own so they are not part of your group. I did this a couple of times and she stopped biting and has never bitten me in the last year. Hope this helps!
