I have several strays who come into my garden day and night.  I feed all of them.  I noticed 1 of the kittens is very poorly.  She has discharge from both eyes and is wheezing when breathing.  I need to get her inside to keep her warm.

Vets are closed on Sundays so I will do my utmost to bring her in tomorrow.

If there is a way I could bring her in doors without scaring her, please advise.  I was able to get very close to her this morning with a bowl of food, but she's not eating a thing.

I'm so worried for her being out there and want to try and help the poor wee thing before its too late.

Thanks

Try to feed her milk slowly with a eye dropper. Keeping her warm and eating is key. I hope everything works out.

It is so heart warming to have people like your self helping cats.

If she is so faint, then I guess she won't resist being picked up. Just wear gloves and put her in a cardboard box and get her in.

If you are worried that she might bite or something (she might especially if she gets scared), then covering her (including her face) with a towel for a few second during the process of putting her in the box will do the trick.

I hope this helps.

Thanks.  I'm glad you mentioned covering her with a towel.  I was thinking of doing that, but worried I might frighten her too much.

I'm going to try now as she's just sitting on my garden wall looking very weak indeed.

I appreciate your advice.

Please do NOT use cow's milk, dangerous for kittens.  Safe replacement milk at pet stores is KMR.
