I had some dry skin on my forehead and rubbed some Jamaican Black Castor Oil on it. My kitten had been sitting and watching me. She stuck her head out for petting and I pat her head. She then made this horrid face after sniffing my hand and fled the scene. I noticed her licking her chops like she had a bad taste in her mouth. What just happened? I Googled "kitten and castor oil" but all I got was not feeding it to them. I would never feed my pets castor oil, I only use black castor oil for my dreadlocks and she plays in them all the time. Do cats have a thing against castor oil? My oldest kitty sniffed my hand and she gave me the "so" face.

I would think your best course of action would be to call your vet and ask.

They said as long as she wasn't showing signs of lethargy she was fine. After the smell left my hands she's been happy go lucky Beleti.
