Gravesly the butler and I had a long talk, and I've consented to allow him to have a wife--as long as she's out of that bridal gown, and into a maid's immediately.

The dangles on the bouquet's ribbons are glittery spiders, as are those black thing in her veil. you can't see it here, but the bouquet has a huge spider web across the top, and another spider on that.

Wow MargeCat, that's amazing!

I've been invited to a Halloween party this year and I was thinking of going as The Corpse Bride.

I love your idea for spiders on the veil and bouquet.

Are you going to wear this costume yourself? We need to see pictures!

Thanks! No, it's a permanent prop (and no WAY could I fit into that dress!). I plan to use it for the ghost book talk at work, and for Halloween at home.

Oh, how the frolicking felines drove me nuts the past 2 days!  Apparently, the bridal gown makes a swell tent, and can also be utilized for cover to ambush the enemy. That would also be me.My ankles will bear the scars for many years to come...

Thanks, Pam!

When I went downstairs this morning, I heard the scurrying of cats' paws. They were under the train of the dress again, but at least she's more difficult to knock over when she's in the corner!

I think Jack the Ripper may be my next figure. The problem is that we tend to think of Jack dressed as an upper-class Victorian gentleman--which he mostly likely wasn't.  I'm not sure people would know who he was if I dressed him properly.

It's been proved in England that jack the Ripper was a polish jew. How they know he was Jewish i don't know and sie the matter has been put to rest as far as the police are concerned.
how would you do him. He'd be poor and scruffy probably.
My two are fighting.

That is SO amazing! I don't know if I commented on the other one you posted, but both are really great! I want to come to your house on Halloween and see all your decorations.

Wow, she's pretty, in a spooky sort of way.  You are so talented!  And I am glad you decided to allow your butler a GF.
