Do you think his spots will be black or tabby striped?

I just adopted this kitten yesterday, and I know black fur can sometimes have 'ghost' stripes but I did t know if this is one of those cases or are his stripes going to become more prominent as he grows? Also they said he was almost 10 weeks where he seems at least a couple week younger, more around 7-8 weeks? What do you think?

I think he is a solid black and white and those tabby markings are "ghost" tabby markings.
They will either disappear completely has he gets older. Or they might only fade slightly so you will still be able to see them in bright sunlight.
I guess only time will tell :lol3:

Thank you, and yeah I think he's gonna be black and white...I've never had one of these types of cats, do they have a certain type of personality? What breeds usually make a black and white cat?

my cat is white and gray and as she got older the spots/stripes in the gray became more noticeable as tabby stripes.I think you cat stripes are going to do the same they will be tabby stripes.

My kitty had round owl eyes. I've never seen that before.
Can black and white cats be tabbies?

my gray and white has tabby  in her. your black and white is a tabby mix, the mother or father is the tabby.  I do know my cat's mother was the tabby, a  gray tabby, the father of my cat was a black and white.  all the kittens were white and either gray or black and they all had the biggest eyes i ever seen on a cat.
