Eating before spay follow-up???

Ummmm....

This might be a dumb question, but can a cat eat before their spay follow-up? As I understand it, Tiki is supposed to have her sutures removed today....the vet never indicated if she could eat or not before the visit...

The vet is often in surgery or an appt.; I don't want to waste a phone call if I don't have to...

If she's not going to be anesthetized she can eat.

They are just taking out the stitches, that's all. make sure the vet gets them all. when amber went back to get hers removed, the doc didnt remove them all. I had to take one out myself. not sure if they would have fell out on their own with no ill effects, but its better to check.
