Good morning
 and Happy Friday!

Today's question is easy: What colors are in your bedroom? Walls? Carpet? Drapes?

Our bedroom is currently a pretty Light Sage (Valspar paint). The carpet is various shades of blue; it's old and it has to go! We've been saying that for the last several years that we've wanted to get rid of the carpet and put a wood floor down, but about the time we get the money saved, then something else crops up. We have multi-color floral drapes with matching comforter. Wooden blinds under the drapes.

What about your bedroom?

We have a soft neutral grey on 3 walls and a darker, brown/grey on 1 wall. Curtains are red silk, matching the red silk cushions on the bed. That's about the only deliberate "decorating" going on, everything else is kind of "the colour we bought because it was on sale" sort of thing.

My walls are beige (my whole house is except the one bathroom). We rent so we are stuck with it. My curtains are grey and my bed set is grey and red. I think the carpet is a blue-ish grey but I'm not 100% sure on that and I don't feel like walking upstairs to look.

Our bedroom walls are pretty weird. I wanted to paint them grey, but my husband wanted green. I found a nice medium sage green (it's a silvery green) that I thought would be perfect, but it's the strangest paint and / or the natural lighting in the bedroom is really off, I don't know.

The walls look green to me, and grey to my husband, so neither of us got what we wanted.
Some walls look a completely different color than other walls! The ceiling is a very light sage green, almost white, but on one corner where it meets the wall it looks the exact same shade. Crazy!

Our bed has a espresso wood frame, and the bedding is linen in ivory and natural linen colors. The king bed is squeezed into the tiny bedroom with two little nightstands that barely fit. These old houses have such itty-bitty bedrooms.

Just about every wall in the house has been painted with Behr's "Parisian Taupe" tan. I try other colors, but I keep going back to this color--it just looks great, especially with glossy-white, deep crown moulding.

We have the tan walls, a tan carpet, and chocolate-brown, silky curtains. They have a sort of rippled, horizontally pleated thing in the fabric.  The furniture is a very dark brown wood (mahogany?).  I just bought a new comforter, which is a sage green and cream quilted puffy thing. I'm not terribly happy with it; I bought it online, and it resembles a sleeping bag because of the quilting! I really wanted a burnt orange paisley print. When we first got married, DH had a Martha Stewart one--I LOVED that thing.

We re-finished our white, 4-poster steel bed last year. I painted it a bronze color, and it looks great. We bought a dark wood platform bed, with storage drawers, and bolted the 4-poster frame to that, and I hung sheer, textured tan curtains on it.

Next year, we plan to replace the cracked ceiling, and then add crown moulding, and get new, plush (tan!) carpet.

Mine is monochromatic, I think the color is called 'linen' in the Penney's color selection, a nice medium shade of grey/brown. My lace floor length tiered curtains, the bedspread, the carpet and the textured 'tin look' ceiling are all the same shade of linen, the walls are a soft beige. The king sized head and foot board, nightstands, armoire, and the dresser are all cherry-wood. The bedspread is a comforter with some sage greens and lilac mixed in, and I used those two colors in flower arrangements, paintings, and throw pillows. I love it so much I've had the same colors in the last three houses we've lived in!

It's a study in blue.

Walls are sort of a Wedgewood/historic blue.  Baseboards and window trim are a very dark brown, almost black.  We didn't have the money at the time we moved in to scrape and restain all the wood in the house so we chose to paint it a dark color similar to what it should be (not a fan of painting historic home wood trim white).  Ceiling is a soft white.  Curtains, navy.  Floors are a honey colored wood which we'd like to stain darker at some point when we can afford to have them refinished.  Bedding, a combo of blues, yellow, a bit of green, white and black (we have a ton of blankets/coverlets/quilts we layer on the bed).  The furniture is vintage brown mid-century modern which does not match anything about the house, but was my parents set so, I'm loathe to get rid of it, plus this type of furniture is worth money so unless I find someone to buy it for a good price, it stays.  The nightstands, however, are two purposely mismatched pieces from Home Goods; painted and aged looking wood that is off white, blue and green with metal trim.

BTW the color of the walls when we moved in was pumpkin orange of all things!  Awful color for a bedroom.

The landlords put in a nice dark carpet and painted the walls a coral color.  Since my bed set is black and white and I work nights, I put up black black-out curtains to darken the room when I sleep.

Our bedroom is one of the unfinished rooms in the house.
The walls are still builder-white.  I do LOVE my curtains; they are a satin/silk like seafoam green.  Unfortuntely I could not find bedding to match and then we upgraded to a king size bed anyway.  So the bedding is blue, sandy-tan and white with black embroidery.  The carpet is a light gray.  I really dislike it...it shows every stain so well.

oh Canada~
The bedroom in my apartment has light yellow/beige walls with parquet wood floors, a brown curtain, and then we have a mix of red and black satin bed sheets with a blue duvet cover. We have zero planning or coordination when it comes to decor in our apartment.
What we have is what we have!

I'm visiting home now though, and in the room I'm sitting in now (what I used to dub my summer room, but it eventually became my full time room), the walls are white, the carpet is light grey, and we have two beds in here now.. one with off-white and neutral sheets with some coloured accents on the pillowcases and sheet, one with either a red or a brown bed sheet with a neutral pillow case and a red pillow case with two flowery comforters - one multicoloured and one green and white, and white blinds. My original bedroom in this house has pink walls, hard wood floors, white drapes, and multicoloured Disney bed set. The bedroom I used to call my weekend room (it's now a guest room, but my dad sleeps there to prevent keeping my mom up with his snoring) has baby blue walls, hard wood floors, and neutral bed set.

We don't have any carpet or curtains. The whole house is  "Log Cabin" style so it's all wooden beams. Except for my office/Mia's room. I painted the walls purple so we can lock ourselves in here and be princesses together.

Oh all right, you talked me into it. Here's a photo.

This is just after I'd finished painting the walls and we'd had a new floor put in. Isn't it pretty?

All walls in my home are painted eggshell. I have a quilt and shams that are burgundy, navy and ivory. The curtains are blue and I have blue rag throw rugs. The floors are oak wood floors. I would like have some of my walls painted in colors but when I think of moving everything, I change my mind. :lol3:

Will post a pic of my bedroom when I get it all straightened up today.Good motivater for cleaning my bedroom today.

My bedroom walls are a light aqua color.

I have white wood look blinds and white  sheer cotton curtains with white flowers embroidered on.

My bed is Ikea platform bed in light natural color wood (don't know the name for that color)

The TV stand same color but veneer, and Ikea chair in same color wood with cream color cushion.

Then I have a dresser that does not match in oak. I have had it for years it is a sturdy well made dresser and and very simple in it's style that is why I keep it. I just need to figure out how to paint it.

My coverlet is different shades of aqua, salmon, and corral. Can't describe the pattern of the coverlet it is very busy. I am terrible about making my bed. So the bed spread is always in this huge basket with shams and decorative pillows. I have good intentions in keeping bed made but leave so early for work with 9 y/o to get moving as well. Ill start out making my bed and it only lasts a few days.

My prints on my walls ocean and shell themed. One is an oil panting.

I have a round sunburst mirror that I ordered online hanging over my bed, but when I saw it in person realized the style does not go but hung it anyway because it was too difficult to ship back.

My master bath is the same color walls. The shower curtain looks like mosaic in shades of aqua to look like water with shades of salmon and coral to look like shells along the bottom of shower curtain.I have 3 shower curtains that I switch periodically for variety and because I kept finding shower curtains that I liked a lot.

Wood look blinds on the window

Sea shell themed pictures

Light aqua throw rugs

Salmon, white and aqua accessories on the double sink counter. Salmon gets switched out when I use the other shower curtains.

White walls, white sheers, pine laminate floor and dark oak furniture. We really don't go much for color at home. :lol3:
