Does anyone else have a complaining/demanding/scolding/naggy-like cat? ^_^

I'm sorry to start a new thread but I wish I could have recorded the noises that were coming out of my cat's mouth just now when I introduced her to Feline Greenies dental cat treats in chicken flavor. :D

It was a series of complaining/demanding/naggy-like noises as she tried to cut me off and raced to her bowl. This is the most excited she's been about any food. :lol3:

Prior to that, she decided to talk to me today and sounded like she was scolding me!! O.O Maybe to play? Iono. But I had to eat my take-out first. That's after I fed her her wet food first, of course.

She's so lucky I think those noises are so cute and they make me giggle!!! :D I secretly applaud her spoilt, little personality!! I love her!!! :rbheart:

She looks so disgruntled suddenly after eating her treats though, instead of happy. Maybe she wanted more than 5-6. Heehee. I giggled over her & her behavior throughout the day. :D

I have a theory that people love cats because we secretly- or not so secretly, as the case may be- want to be them!  They unabashedly believe they deserve to have their needs and desires met.  Maybe they're a little unreasonable sometimes (ha!), but if they're rebuffed they lick off the rejection and immediately go back to being The Most Important Creature In All The Universe.  It's freakishly admirable.

LOL. I agree with you. I read a quote that I thought was pretty hilarious. Something like "dogs think they're human, cats think they're God". :D

Our kitty walks around and gives us disappointed looks while making the nagging noises. It is too funny.

We have one who murrrrs (kind of like a grunt) for things, but it sounds like she's just having a conversation because she's very vocal. It's usually for attention, but if she sees me loading her Kong with kibble, she murrrs and meows. Our other cat howls and yowls as loud as he can for anything in the world. We'll always know he wants something because of the volume, and he's so high pitched that it resonates out of our apartment and into the hallway. He's a screamer even if all he wants is a headpat or some company at 4am.

My cat has IBD and seasonal allergies. In the fall and spring when his allergies act up, I give him steroids for a couple of weeks to help with the itching. This makes him sooo hungry, more hungry than he's ever been. He will beg the crap out of me for food by meowing constantly, staring up at me, jumping up in my lap while I eat dinner.. then while I'm scooping the food into a dish, he goes nuts and stretches his paws up onto the cabinet. It's hilarious

Oh, gosh. We've got a yowler and howler, too. He'll just scream anytime he needs anything at all. Actually, he screams when he's just saying hello to you, too, haha. His new thing is screaming at me to get up at 5:30-6:00am, not to feed him, but to let his new little brother out of the bathroom (we've only had him a week so far, so he's still kept in the bathroom quite a bit--big brother protests the slow introduction and is teaching said little brother to wail just as loudly once he starts up). I don't mind, but our neighbors in our apartment building probably do!

My cat dose not like when I put her down. She gives this short and sad meow when I do. When I wake up I pick her up to get our food, or when I put her down to play with her toys. She loves to be held, and truth be told I love to hold her too
