Greetings All,

I have always been a dog person,  but I have had a change of heart. I have been very unsuccessful with owning dogs. To make a long story short, dogs are not my thing anymore due to aggression, jealousy. biting, dominance, etc. I am thinking about getting a Himalayan. I have heard that they are sweet. If anyone owns a Himmie, will you please tell me about them? Thanks a lot for your help!

Welcome to TCS!  I've never had a Himalayan myself, but a friend of mine breeds them and they are such great cats!

I don't own a himmie either but the ones I have met have always been lovely laid back cats

I believe Miss Mew's cat in her avatar picture is a Maine Coon same as the cat in mine

Wonderful! They are my fave breed. Think of a cat-dog that is sturdy, healthy, easy to groom, and fun to have around.
