2 1/2 month old kitten skinny?

i went to a vet and got him dewormed last 2 days for the first time and he weighed 1.10kg which is 2.4lbs

i brought a stool to the vet and he said he didnt find any worms but he said he's gonna deworm him just in case (is this normal?)

i think he weighs normal but he kinda look skinny? i free feed him everyday with half half mix of smartheart(dry) for kittens and whikas(wet)

im curious if will he ever get fat?

He looks like a typical kitten to me.

I do want to encourage you to keep him indoors only, especially until he gets all of his kitten vaccines.
