I was thinking about trying out these wet foods for my kitten.       Anyone feed them or have any thoughts on them?

Fromm's wet food

Wild Calling wet food

Ziwipeak wet food

(Ziwipeak doesn't have caregeenan or Guar Gum.  Would love to try it but its so expensive and I can't find any place to order just a couple of cans so I can try it first before I even think about buying a case)

Fromm's -- high in carbs.

Wild Calling - nutritionally good on paper, but many dislike that it is produced by Evanger's. Have heard some kitties don't like the taste.

Ziwipeak - excellent food, but $$$.

See my signature for online stores that sell by the single can. I can also obtain single cans of Ziwipeak and will send out if reimbursed.

Thanks for the info.

Too bad Fromm has high carbs.  I wanted to try it out.     I ordered a couple of cans of Wild Calling from NaturalPetMarketPlace.  They had free shipping so couldn't resist.

Gohealthypet is the only one that has individual Ziwipeak cans but I noticed their ingredient list hasn't changed to reflect  the food is now caregeenan free.   I'm afraid to order just in case they have older cans sitting around.   Maybe for the better because the food is really expensive

Thanks both of you for the links

Fromm, while they use high quality ingredients, use too much plant materials for my taste. I do not approve of potato starch or pea fiber. Too high in carbohydrates.

As for Wild Calling, I have tried it a few times with my cat. A few times she ate it with moderate relish and several other times I could not get her to eat it because something smelled completely off about the food. It smelled rotten! So, while the ingredients are in theory good, I have had too many experiences with this food being funky. I have heard other members cite the same complaints.

Ziwipeak wet food has great ingredients and I would feed it to my cat, if it were not 36.69 a case. Holy crap. While I do not do the most expensive, premium food, I have managed to find what I consider quality wet food for about 25.19 a case (and in some cases cheaper) and she loves it.

So I stick with Nutro Natural Choice, L.I.D. Natural Balance Venison, and my homage to the cheap, but shockingly healthier than high end “healthy” grain free foods: Sheba Beef pate.

Hi, I'm sorry to hijack your thread, but I wasn't sure if I should post here or make a new thread.

Could someone please let me know how bad or okay the following nutritional information is? My new kitty is very picky and this may be all she likes so far. I accidentally bought & fed her kitten food...but it worked out as long as this is not too much carbs. The ingredients label on this can is printed ridiculously tiny and is basically unreadable.
