As an overwhelmed people-caregiver (in addition to cat rescuer), I am INCREDIBLY happy to finally have found a product that DOES eliminate odors in laundry....any caregiver will understand the embarrassment of going in public with unpleasant odors clinging to their clothes, especially when the odors are not their

My wonder-product find is Odor-Nix, which my veterinarian recommended to me. So much faster and simpler than the vinegar/peroxide/borax/baking soda/vinegar/table salt concoctions and soaks that I had been using plus much more effective and time saving. Odor-Nix is available to me only online and is a bit pricey for my budget,sooo....

Does anyone else out there have an odor eliminator that they can recommend?  Febreeze sometimes causes me to have asthma and also, I have found that the tough odors return as readily as with the homemade solutions so I save the $ for other uses, like cat vaccinations...

I use a product called "Elimo"  which I get through a friend.  I think you have to be a member of the company to order it because she orders ten bottles at once and sells me one.

I found the Elimo website through a bing.com search - you might be able to explore it and see.

I am allergic to many perfumes and although Elimo has a distinct odor, it does not trigger my allergies.  It does get rid of odors.  My husband works with chemicals all day.  He puts his clothes in  the washer the minute he gets home but even then, I can begin sneezing, eyes watering, nose itching when I smell them.  Elimo works wonders on those smells.  It also gets rids of cat pee smells amazingly well.

Thanks for the tip! My vet has also been using apple-scented D-Molish. I intend to give both of those a try!

I got OdorZout Laundry Powder from a vendor at a cat show. It really does an amazing job in the washing machine. The vendor told me I could get it at a hardware store, but I haven't had to go looking yet because it lasts a long time. It's on Amazon as well,

I just started using X-O:
I used to use Nature's Miracle, but couldn't stand the smell of the stuff!  But I really like the X-O and a little goes a long way.
