We started weaning Ali down from 25 mgs of prednisone to 20 mgs 6 days ago, and today she got a check up at the vet and blood work to make the the pemphigus had not come back.
It has not and she looks great.
We will continue weaning her off as low as we can go.
She will be on 20 mgs til the Oct 1 and then we will wean down 5 more mgs for another 2 weeks.
I am so happy that she is doing so well and know we have a long ways to go and am feeling hopeful we finally found something that is going to work.
Our vet didn't charge us for a visit or the blood work today either.
We appreciate her os much.
