Hey guys. Recently I rescued a kitten and she's a little love bug. Purrs, Licks, and Cuddles all day. I've dealt with plenty of cats before but never raised one from a kitten(especially so young) so I figured maybe you guys could help me.

1) How can I get my kitty used to my dogs? They're eager to be her friend. She hisses at them but is very welcoming of the other cats.

2) She will absolutely not sit on a bed. She just meows and tries to suicide jump off. It's not the height either as I can let her on my computer desk or couch top and she's fine/sleeps.

3) She will not move if i'm not in the room. I can leave my door open, her crate open(she's still that young where she needs a crate) all night if I wanted and she'll just sit there and sleep in her litter pan unless I invite her out.

Thanks for any feedback guys =)

Oh she is a doll!!

Dogs can be very loud and imposing compared to a cat. Perhaps tell the dog to sit or lie still so kitten can check them out. My guess on the bed is that it's a huge expanse with no wall. See if you can lay between her and the edge. As for her moving, she's scared. That will come with time.

This site has many articles about cat care, behavior, and health. Here is one about introducing cats and dogs.

www.thecatsite.com/a/introducing-cats-to-dogs

It is written from the point of training the dog, as cats do only what they want to do.

I would suggest reading as many of the articles as you have time for. They are the result of years of observation of thousands of people and millions of cats.

Welcome to TCS and keep the questions coming.

She is a cutie!

I also rescued a 2 weeks old black tom 3 months ago, they look pretty similar.

She is scared, she thinks you're mommy cat that's why she wants to stay with you in the same room. She is totally dependent of you and se would progressively get her independence around 3 months I think.

What kind of food are you feeding her? remember not to give cow's milk to her, only goat's milk

She is absolutely adorable!!!!

omgggggg reminds me of my girl Jet when i first got her.

just wanted to add about the bed, she might not like it at the moment, but let her come around to it on her own. My cat Gunther never sleeps on the bed with us. Lately he's been coming around. He's about 6 months old.

also, maybe your bed harbors your dogs scents, if you allow your dogs on the bed, and that's why she doesn't like it.
