Happy Monday folks!

When was the last time you were on a train, a plane and in an automobile?  Where did you go?

On Saturday DH, my Mother, Step-dad, my kids and I went to a heritage railroad center a few hours from us.  It included a train ride and a lot of kid-friendly activities.  It was a LOT of fun!  (Exhausting; but fun!)  My kids had fun playing train today.
The last time I was on a plane was in 2007.  I was recently laid off and concerned about changes to my grandmother's health.  DH didn't have time off of work; so my father generously offered to buy me a round trip plane ticket (it's a fairly short flight; but still!).  My cousin picked me up at the airport and I was able to spend a whole week with my Grandparents.  The last time I was in a car was today.  We went to Lowes, Walmart and Dairy Queen.

It's great the kids enjoyed the train!

The last time I was on a train was the end of July. It's not a big deal here because so many people commute to work by train.

I flew from the U.S. to Germany in June; I've lost track of how many times I've made that trip.

The last time I used the car was the middle of last week to pick up some bottled water.

I last took the subway train 3 weeks ago (heavy commuter traffic here as well) to go downtown and buy art supplies, though the last time I took a train that connected several cities was probably 3 or 4 years ago to get half way home from Toronto after seeing An Evening with Colin and Brad (from Whose Line), and then a friend's mom picked us up from the midpoint.

Last I was in a plane was August of 2005 returning home from China.

Last time I was in a car was last Saturday (the 13th), I believe, having visited my nephew for his birthday and then going to the boyfriend's sister's for her early birthday family celebration. I also bus every weekday, so last time I was on a bus I was returning from school Friday evening.

Sounds like your kids had a great time!

My first and only plane ride was from the Baltimore airport to Vegas with Rick for a week; he was going for union business and I went along for the ride. That was in the mid-90s, I think. Never again. I wasn't crazy about the casinos (that's just not my thing), but while he was in classes, I toured the Valley of Fire and the Hoover Dam. Went to the Grand Canyon one day. The Valley of Fire was amazing and I'd go back just to tour the park again.

Last car ride was Saturday morning when I had to run some errands: banking, Target, etc.

Last train? Eurostar London/Paris return. 2009?

Last plane? London to Toronto. 2009?

Last car? Drive up a windy river road hoping to see waterfowl and the changing of the leaves yesterday.

Two cats with medical conditions keep us terribly close to home these days. One is leavable, but the other isn't. She would be back under the bed and howling for us and not eating.

I'm a little jealous you got to see them. I loved Whose Line! (At least the pg version ;) )

I forgot the bus! You can tell I'm not in a city huh? We do actually have a bus line down here; I've just never lived where it was something to consider for my commute. I did take some clients on a practice ride once. I think that was in 2006 or so.

the last time i was on a train was to go to my parents house after my dad had died, to scatter his ashes (he was cremated).

the last time i was on a plane was a few years earlier than the last train trip, and was to visit the rochester, ny area looking at apartments prior to moving up there (to be closer to my parents).

the last time i was in an automobile was last saturday (two days ago), when i went shopping with my brother. i more than likely won't be in an automobile again until late november.

the last time i was on a bus was to ride to my bank, about an hours ride on the bus to get there and the same length of time to get back home, just over two years ago. the thing about the buses where i live is that they're very small and can be quite unreliable. which is why i refer to it as "the rinky dink bus system", and make sure to avoid using it unless there is no alternative. they don't run but a few times per route most days, and don't run at all on weekends or holidays or in the evenings any day. since i live in a rural area and it's pretty much always a good distance from my house to where i need to go, it's very possible to become stranded and walking could take me all night and into the next day to get back home.

oh, i would love visiting a heritage railroad center! that's just the kind of thing i really enjoy. i also absolutely love visiting lighthouses.

Last train probably 10 years ago to go to New York City. I commuted by train into the city every day when I was younger. Last plane was to Florida to visit the motherinlaw about 4 years ago. Car almost every day just to get around.

I'm on a train Monday through Friday back and forth from home to work.  NJ Transit.  Not the best experience, they have a lot of issues especially after Hurricane Sandy.  But it's the most cost effective way to get from New Jersey to New York, so I deal.

Haven't been on a plane in several years.  The last 2 vacations we took were on a cruise, and both departed from terminals close to home, one in NY, the other in Bayonne, NJ.

I took a little prop plane to my niece's wedding in January - just a quick hop over the strait to Washington.

The last train / subway I took was about 5 years ago at Heathrow.

Last car ride was yesterday when we headed up island.

Last bus was a few weeks ago coming home from downtown.

Train - some time around 1985 - in Belgium

Plane - Probably 2 years ago, I haven't been anywhere in awhile

Automobile - 10 minutes ago.

Bus?  It's been too many years to remember, I would say 1970s before I got a car.

I was on a train two weeks ago when I went to visit my father and had to ride the subway.

I was on an aeroplane in 1984. Not an experience I care to repeat.

I was in an automobile on Saturday, as my best friend drove me home.

Oh jeeze, I follow them everywhere!
My sole reason for Twitter is to see when one of them posts tour dates and cities. At one point, I saw Colin and Brad in Kitchener one night, and the next night I went to see the Whose Live gang (Greg, Chip, Ryan, and Jeff) in Mississauga - about an hour's drive. My brothers are huge fans too, so we went together to a handful of shows in a row. I was livid they were so close and they couldn't just get together! I'd have paid both ticket prices in full to see them together again, but I'm so glad Whose Line is back on the air now. It only took, what, 7 years? They tend to frequent bigger cities near me, though they were at the casino in Niagara Falls before I was old enough to go inside. I went to 7 or 8... maybe even more shows whenever they were close enough until I realized how hard it was hitting my wallet... but I love them so much! They're all a riot.

I love Who's Line. I wanted to go to Who's Live in Kitchener but didn't end up going. I had just had my daughter when they were around 2 years ago. I saw they are coming again soon, but I am about to have a baby again and didn't want to buy tickets and not be able to use them. One of these times I will go....maybe.

My friend and I used to do that to go see our favorite bands.  It does hit the wallet; but we had some great times!  My how times have changed for me.

I don't have cable; so I'm not sure if I'll get to see any of the new shows.  Maybe if they are online.  I'll have to look into it sometime.  They truly are a riot!

If you go for #3 you'll have to try to plan around it!
