I just adopted a 10 week old kitten. She's super playful and drinks and eats normal. But her stool is runny and yellow. We took her to the vet and they took a stool test. They gave antibiotics to jump start the treatment in case of an infection. She hasn't lost her appetite or won't drink. But I checked her stool just now when she went to see if it changed any and it was firmer but it looked like there was a little white worm on it. I don't know what that means & the vet is closed today. Please help!!!!!
Also is it contagious to humans or other dogs??? How can i help her from home? Please please help!!

Worms are not an emergency, all kittens are born with them.  If your vet didn't start your kitten on dewormer, I would ask about it on monday.  Are the worms round or flat?  If possible, obtain a sample and show to the vet.

They gave her some medicine. Metronadizole? I think it's supposed to jump start the process if she had a parasite.

Metronidazole should help with the runs, but the worms need to be treated. There are many things that will treat rounds, but tapes are another story. Drontal, Pyran, Strongid-T, Panacure will all do rounds as well as some other parasites. Milbemax will do tapes, I'm not sure what else does. All of these things must be gotten through the veterinarian.
