Hi guys so I have had Happy sense he was two months old and now he is about 5 months old but I rarely ever see him take naps. Is this normal? He has a lot of beds and I put cat nip on them and I try playing relaxing music for him but it never works. I would think he would sleep more, any ideas? P.S he eats purina kitten chow

Not all cats are big nappers. Perhaps he gets most of his sleep at night when you are sleeping. Do you work during the day? It's likely he sleeps then too.

I really wouldn't be too concerned about it.

As for the food, Kitten Chow really isn't the best for him. If it's the best you can afford, than so be it. You can look for foods with a named meat source (chicken, turkey, duck...) first and a food that is grain-free and low carb.

Regardless, make sure your kitten is getting plenty if exercise and you have at least 2 really good play sessions (30 mins or so each) with him a day (Da Bird and Neko Flies are great options for these play sessions!)

Thanks! It was a big bag of food and my dad bought it while I was at school but we're getting near the end of the bag and yes sense Happy is a very hyper kitty so he gets lots of play. Thanks so much :)
