Hello.

It's starting to get pretty cold around here. I spent yesterday afternoon packing away all my summer clothes and getting out all my autumn and winter stuff.

One thing I noticed about my wardrobe, whatever the season I wear a lot of black. I've got some dark blues, purples, reds and pinks in the mix as well but there sure is a lot of black.

There is one colour I never wear, and that's yellow  It looks dreadful with my pale skin, I end up looking like an anaemic banana.

How about you, what's your "unfavourite" colour?

Orange. Peach and apricot suit my coloring, but bright orange washes me out and reminds me of plastic cafeteria chairs.

I don't think there are any particular colours I avoid. I only have a few "hot" neon coloured items, but I like how they look on me. I even like my yellow capri pants.
Most my stuff is neutral or pastel.

Pink, or any light, vibrant color. My wardrobe consists of black, grey, white, black, red, black, black, camo and black.

Yellow is pretty bad, but orange is my worse one. I love the rich royal blues, purples, greens etc, but never anything orange or even related to orange like peach. Yuck.

Yellow seems to be pretty unpopular.

@pinkdagger  you're the only one who looks good in yellow so far.

I cannot wear yellow unless I have a good tan.  I have an olive undertone and that deepens when I tan and I can tan nicely; I just don't.  I'm darker this year than I have been in probably over 10 years just from taking my kids outside to play and I'm still not ready to try any yellow.  DH is a redhead and when you put our hands side by side you can really see the yellow-green in me and the pink in him!

Some pastel pinks look awful on me; but it just depends on the item.

Salmon is a disgusting colour and I'm not sure if brown looks particularly good on anybody.

Pink. I have nothing against the colour itself, and it actually looks nice against my skin tone.

The problem is...it makes me look really young. I am mid twenties, but look 17. If I wear pink, I tend to look even *more* as such and even younger. With being fair haired and all, I also become more underestimated. And I have enough bitterness surrounding that =b

In a dance studio or stage it is fine, but in daily life....nope!

Then there are the other colours that don't suit me - green and brown. They make me look sickly.

And depends on the shade of yellow. Bright and sunny looks good, anything darker does not.
