Just a few minutes ago I was trying to reapply some soft paws that had fallen off onto my kitten. This is usually a two person job but since I only needed to reapply a couple I thought I could handle it.

Boone struggled so much that I lost hold of him as I was trying to put one on. It came off but he had glue all over his nail and must have retracted it while struggling.

Now it seeks as if he can not extend his claw because of the glue :( :(

What do I do?! Is this something I should really be concerned about? Will the glue wear off?

I wouldn't know as I don't use these on my cats, but have you thought of phoning the company that provided the glue?

It'll wear off. It's just like getting super glue on your fingers while gluing something---annoying, but it goes away in a day or two.

I agree that it will wear off soon, especially if you are using the glue that comes with the soft paws. If you want to help the process along, try to dip his paw in a cup of water a few times a day.

That's happened to our cats before, they both wear soft paws. It's a little uncomfortable for a day or two but the glue does wear off. It's non toxic as well so if kitty does ingest some while grooming it will not hurt her.
