Mine enjoy pork and beef the most. I give them pork about 75% of the time. I figure pigs are generally omnivores (eating a more "balanced feed, or even slop), that their meat will give my cats decent nutrition. Chicken they will eat but not as enthusiastically. When it comes to organ meats, my cats won't touch chicken liver, but have no issues with pork or beef liver.  They eat quail for bone-in meats and the occasional egg.

My cats recoiled in disgust at rabbit meats. Won't touch it. I feel it might be too "gamey". I haven't tried lamb (too expensive for us here) or any other exotic meats.

What do you cats like?

They both love rabbit, lamb, duck, chicken and turkey. They don't get beef or fish very often but they don't dislike them. Lilith likes pork, Sophie does not.

My boys love pork (they bite me really hard while feeding) above anthing else and that is the most expensive meat here. I wont let then have fish because I read it is harmful for them, not sure but I wont risk. Rabbit food is the second most expensive food here and they love it too as the second. I am starting to tink that they check the bill before eat. Just joking by the way.

They like rabbit, duck, venison, chicken, turkey, and tuna.  I give them duck hearts as a treat (when I can afford it).  I don't give them beef because of the acidic content and it will tear up my poor Phoebe's tummy.

My cats like the Nature's Variety frozen duck, rabbit, venison, and beef. Now that NV no longer makes the frozen medallions for cats, I've been transitioning my cats to commercial raw meat for pets with a premix. So far my Aby loves chicken, beef, and rabbit. The other one likes chicken and rabbit.

My girls LOVES rabbit, quail, and mice. She really  likes lamb too, but for some reason it makes her a messy eater. She thinks it needs to be thrown around and eaten off the floor. And of course she's always looking forward to her weekly sardine. Turkey used to be a favourite too, but it turns out she's allergic to it.

So far both Sinbad and Tempest share the same favorites list: wild boar and buffalo. Followed by beef, then rabbit. They'll eat chicken but it's clearly not the preferred food.

Sinbad always comes begging when we have salmon, but I've never given him any and he comes begging when we eat anything. Fruit, veggies, meat, fish, cheese, bread, if it goes into my mouth he wants to try it.

This was an interesting thread, a poll so to speak, that might give you other ideas. Some of the answers depend on where the person lives. I can never source kangaroo, and can source llama only through Hare Today.
Ritz still loves everything, though she seems to throw up rabbit, but then she's always been a pucker. But then, well, I'd rather her throw up cheap protein like chicken than expensive rabbit.

So after I posted this NV came back with the frozen raw medallions for cats but in just chicken and rabbit varieites. I still add in raw with a pre-mix to each meal. I've tried goat, turkey, duck, quail, and bison. My cats so far has liked all of these.

Do you have independent pet stores? Sometimes they have chubs of raw meat for pets. You do need to add in supplements so that it is a complete meal.

Ordering online from Hare-Today.com and other places is popular. There's a thread here on TCS with a list of Canadian suppliers and there may be one for the UK as well.

My cat loves: Turkey, quail, bison and chicken!

She isn't picky so she'll eat anything if its in a big meaty chunk! She also gets lamb, pork and beef.

She is allergic to fish, venison and beef liver though.

Pork and rabbit are the number one favourites. Along with Quail , docs and mice. Turkey is ok as is beef. They hate lamb and duck. Venison is hit and miss! I need to find out which type of deer it comes from, I think that's what makes the difference.
We've tried Lhama, kangaroo and goat but none have been really liked.

This and the other thread with the poll results are so interesting!

Freshness is a big factor in determining what my cats will eat, as is food novelty.  When they were kittens, anything novel was always an instant hit, but now that they're older, they take time to warm up to a new protein or even the same protein with a different preparation.  They do, however, enthusiastically eat any protein that they'd been previously introduced to but haven't seen in a while.

Rabbit and pork are definitely favorites.  I'm happy that these are nicely inexpensive at Hare Today.  But, when I give them chunks of REALLY fresh chicken or turkey, straight from the local poultry farm, they go absolutely crazy for it!

Cindy, could Ritz be loving rabbit so much she eats it too fast and then regurgitates?  Chai (white Siberian in the photo who is now around 16 lbs and is like having a Mack truck racing around the house) has exactly that issue.  I either have to mix the rabbit with some chicken, or feed him small amounts at a time.

Rabbit and turkey are the winners with my kitty. Ghibli goes crazy for NVI's rabbit medallions and Rad cat Turkey! Obviously fresh sardines are like crack with him though :)

Turkey, Chicken&Salmon, Lamb, Rabbit Turkey is the cheapest and a favorite of my forever hungry ragdoll. Rabbit is by far the most expensive in these parts.
