I took my cat Audrey to the vet yesterday because she was acting funny and not eating or drinking.
She peed in the cat carrier on the way there so the doctor was able to get a urine sample and diagnosed
her with a urinary tract infection. She also had a fever. He gave her some fluids and sent me home with an
anti-biotic.
Since she is 12 years old, he recommended blood work and I agreed. I got the results this morning and
it turns out she is also anemic.
Are these things related to each other in any way or does this poor cat have two separate issues going
on with her right now?
