My cat needsi to wear an e-collar for 4-6 weeks while he is healing from a urinary procedure. We had a traditional plastic e-collar that proved to be a tad bit small for him andi he was able to contort himself to get around it. Then the Vet put one on that is double the length of his head but its just too heavy and awkward.

I've just ordered a Kong cloud collar and I'm hoping someone has had success using one of these on their cats.

If you have used one, how well did it work as far as being able to reach around the under the tail  etc?

I haven't personally used one although my brother had one for his cat at she was able to get at her back end in it. On the flip side, I have a friend who swears by the kong. Chances are it depends on the size and flexibility of the cat. I would just make sure you order from somewhere with a good return policy, just in case.

Thanks Ms Freya. If it doesn't work I'm not worried, I'll just put away in case it does come in handy. We have a massive plastic e-collar from the vets but I'm just looking to make his life more comfortable for the next 4-6 weeks. It's just to stop him from contorting to get at his butt.

It sounds like it should definitely be more comfortable. My brothers cat, Ellie, would go looking for it tp sleep on after he took it off her. It sat on his floor as a cat pillow for months after she no longer needed to wear it. :lol3:
