Yes and I don't have the restraint to wait quite that long.  But then the dark side is the one with all the cookies.  I think I could manage to wait till right after the American Thanksgiving; which is when we put our tree up.  But then; no promises.

Finally a break in the heat today! It is starting to feel like Christmas! Only got up to 75 today, I should feel lucky.......... in my oh so secretive state of the US!

Aw!  Maybe mark it on your calender for next year! 

I started shopping today.  Something caught my eye.  It's feeling much more fall like here as well.  I was glad to be in jeans; though I did still wear sandals out and about today.

I shipped a package today (possibly a SS one!) and it's going almost across the country.  By standard mail the received date is the 15th.  That makes Christmas seem SO close!!

Oops! I haven't been paying attention and totally missed this thread. So here's the deal. I had every intention of getting my SS package in the mail by the 1st of December, until I remembered that there were two church bazaars and a huge community yard sale last Saturday, the 6th. I was sure I could find that something special for my santee, and of course I did. There were a lot of things I wouldn't have taken for free, but there were also some wonderful items. I picked up ______ and ______ for my santee -- or maybe those were for myself

So did I go ahead an ship on the 1st or wait to get those last extra special items? Guess you'll have to wait and see when the package arrives. :happy2:
