dental issues

Hey everyone. .
Does anyone know of any great products for my 5 yr old Tonkinese cats that will help with gingivitis. I want to get it under control before it gets worse.

She is a skiddish cat
Any tips ideas would help.

She eats hard food

I hadn't tried it but there is a product called plaqueoff that is supposed to be good  http://www.onlynaturalpet.com/products/ProDen-PlaqueOff-Dental-Powder/232000.aspx   I know people with kitties who have stomatitis have seen improvement using it.  It is thought that stomatitis is actually an autoimmune reaction to plaque on the teeth.

Are you feeding dry food because someone told you it cleans teeth? This is a myth.

No not because it cleans teeth. Well i have tried alot of wetfood with her that she is very picky about the food. I have gotten her pate and others . All she does is lick the gravy and thats eat and doesnt eat the rest. Then i change the food eats the hard food.

I haven't tried it myself but plan to since my kitty has bad breath and the vet said a bit of gingivitis.    I did a search of the forum and Biotene Antiseptic Oral Gel seems to be one that is often recommended.
