Talking about what's for dinner here on TCS and pregnancy cravings came up. You have to give in to temptation sometimes.

What were yours?

Pregnancy cravings can get pretty bad and sometimes you just have to have it. I wanted a big mac very bad so I gave in and had it that day. I don't eat it very often anymore and I've stayed pretty active throughout this pregnancy. I'm just about 35 weeks (so 5 more weeks to go) and I've just hit my pre-pregnancy weight since I lost 6 pounds at the beginning.

We are having hot dogs and fries tonight for dinner. My husband has a work thing tonight and I wanted something simple to make. I hate cooking for just me and Aimee.

My cravings were beans with Mark. Baked beans, bean soup, it didn't matter how they were cooked I.had to have them and later I brought them up but I
still craved them.
With Joanna it was mangoes and they weren't in season. Tinned mangoes didn't do it for me.
strange how pregnant women get cravings.
Strange what pregnant women crave.
Has anybody had strange cravings?

When I was pregnant with my son I craved hot and spicy Mexican food, even though it gave me heartburn I HAD to eat it. The problem is, I NEVER LOST THE CRAVING! In fact right now I am eating a home made Tamale with super hot sauce.
Another strange thing is that I even nursed my son eating super hot things and he craves hot and spicy things too, to this day!  Coincidence? PS. at the very top of the page there is a box by the page number boxes that says 'start a new thread' Easy!

I think I mentioned before that when I was pregnant with our son, I craved KFC. Big time. I could awaken in the middle of the night and smell KFC.

I'm a confirmed chocoholic, love my chocolate. But when I was pregnant, chocolate made me ill. I couldn't even stand to look the stuff. (But the day after I gave birth, Rick brought me in a 1/2 pound box of chocolate covered pretzels and I ate every blasted one!)

Mrs. B, I can't tell you when the last time was that I had French fries. I love them, but we just don't eat them very often anymore.

I just hit prepregnancy weight at 38 weeks.  I lost so much first few weeks and then could barely eat first 20 or so weeks.  Now I wake up with a "must eat" nothing else matter mind set.

Chicken or eggs seemed to be the major craving.  I started with wanting shake n bake then just the chicken roasted and ended up with making eggs to dip bread in yolkd  I can NOT eat pizza from any shop but can still eat frozen pizzas.  That is quite strange to me.  I normally can survive on pizza weeks at a time.

Can of soup drained of the liquid and will mix mac n cheese into it.
