Daily Question 09/10/14 #wiskerswednesday

Good Evening my dear TCS´ers

In order to I´ll going to have a busy day tomorrow... and not internet connection for a long time of the day, I decide to put now the dialy question of the day for the WED!

1.-Written a letter to Santa Claus?
2.- Been kissed under the mistletoe?
3.- Watched the sunrise with someone you care about?

1.-Written a letter to Santa Claus?  Yep!  I remember feeling so embarrassed when I found out there was no Santa Claus.
2.- Been kissed under the mistletoe?  Yes.
3.- Watched the sunrise with someone you care about?  Yes.
4.- Blown bubbles?  Yes, and actually not that long ago!
5.- Gone ice-skating?  Yes, but it's been years...about 22 years.  And I'm terrible at it.

1.-Written a letter to Santa Claus? No, I'm Jewish.

2.- Been kissed under the mistletoe? No see above.

3.- Watched the sunrise with someone you care about? Several times, Best one was with a dear friend. We got up way before dawn to drive down to Key West from Fort Lauderdale.  Stopped on Grassy Key right before the sun was due to come up.  Not a sole around on the beach.  Was an amazing way to start the day.

4.- Blown bubbles? Absolutely.

5.- Gone ice-skating? More times than I could count.  This was a regular thing to do in winter when I was younger.  Wish I still could, but bad knees prevent it.

Yes

Yes

3.- Watched the sunrise with someone you care about?

Yes

4.- Blown bubbles?

Yes

5.- Gone ice-skating?

Once. Stood up and promptly fell on my butt 

1.-Written a letter to Santa Claus?

Yes, in elementary school it was part of what you did at Christmas time! There's even a Canadian postal code that commercials and such encourage children to write to, H0H0H0.

2.- Been kissed under the mistletoe?

Nope. I don't think I've ever been under mistletoe.

3.- Watched the sunrise with someone you care about?

Yes, last year when I went camping with my boyfriend and his friends + their girlfriends, we woke up around 5 and went to watch the sunrise at the beach.

4.- Blown bubbles?

Of course! I still love blowing bubbles.

5.- Gone ice-skating?

Yes! I briefly took skating lessons when I was young, and where my parents currently live, there's a park with a shallow dip with a wooden bridge over it that neighbours flood in the winter to make a small ice rink.

1.-Written a letter to Santa Claus? Yes. I can't wait to do that this year with Aimee.
2.- Been kissed under the mistletoe? Yes
3.- Watched the sunrise with someone you care about? No
4.- Blown bubbles? Yes, Aimee loves bubbles so we blow bubbles often. 
5.- Gone ice-skating? Yes, but not for a few years. I can't wait to teach my kids to ice skate and go frequently with them.

2.- Been kissed under the mistletoe? Yes, with my high school BF

3.- Watched the sunrise with someone you care about? Yes, prom mornining also watched sunsets too

4.- Blown bubbles? Yep, and still do!

5.- Gone ice-skating? All the time! Until my sister took my skates to go with her daughter, lol
 

Yes to all of your questions, although I haven't skated for over 40 years, my ankles really got a workout I recall. I always grab my husband and kiss him when I see mistletoe, when you are my age you get what you can!

5.- Gone ice-skating? Yes but I'm terrible at it lol

 In fact, I just bought some bubbles Saturday from the dollar store!  It had a long eye shaped want, so it makes really good sized bubbles, & a lot!!

I buy them for Angel to play with, but I like them too!!  It takes him a few minutes. at first he will just watch, then he starts trying to get them w/ his paw, or sometimes bite them. LOL!

3.- Watched the sunrise with someone you care about? - Yes.
4.- Blown bubbles? - Yes
5.- Gone ice-skating? - As an adult, three times. The first two were pretty wobbly, but the third time I did pretty good. DH said it was a matter of having better skates.  As a kid, I had double runner blades that attached to my shoes, and I would sometimes so skating on the lake when it froze over. I guess my father took me pretty far out, and my mother was not happy about it - afraid the ice would crack.

we didn't celebrate Christmas obviously but I still sent lettera to father Christmas.
