I don't know what's wrong with your cat, but if he can barely open his eyes he could be in pain.  The best thing to do for your cat is take him to a vet and be sure to mention that you cleaned up something green.  Good luck!

And I'd take him to the vet today.  Eye stuff can go ugly and fast.  Many vibes sent your way!

I would get your cat to the vet, he could have some sort of eye infection.  Eyes are very delicate and can get severe really fast.

I used a tissue to clean it off. He is now opening his eyes but when he blinks i think he feels pain. Can it be something he is allergic from??

My cat, Oliver, is constantly getting hair in his eyes and they get very irritated and it will sometimes turn into something that needs to be treated with an veterinary antibiotic eye ointment. But, I've found that most of the time, if he's squinting with one eye, or it seems runny, I can flush it with some sterile saline solution, like the kind you use for contacts, and that takes care of the issue. If you want to try that, look for a saline solution without preservatives. I like Unisol 4. You can also use artificial tears, made for human use.

You know what. Everything you just mentioned happens with my cat, sometime he squints with one eye and sometimes his hair is in his eye and it also is runny as if he is crying. So where can i get that medicine from?

If this is the first time you've seen this in your cat, you definitely should take him to the vet. You'll have to see a vet to get the ointment anyway. The kind they've given me before is called Neo-Poly-Bac.
