I have had Toni for 14 years. We moved into our new place on the 5th of August and she has been loving it, other than the fact there are some fleas here that she has never had before. I used Advantage on her the scratching has subsided. Early Saturday morning I got up to use the washroom and she came back to bed with me. within seconds she was scratching the quilt. I got up, turned on the light and in that short time she had peed and pooped on my bed. Sunday I washed everything, put the bedding back on the bed, got into it and within seconds she was scratching the quilt again got up and she had peed on my down quilt yet again

One thought is that there are still fleas on the floor near or in the litter box and they jump on her and bite her.  They can't stay on her because you have the Advantage on her (but you may have to apply it every 3 weeks instead of every 4 until you get the infestation wiped out).  When I've had serious fleas, the cats tend to travel above floor level, or if they are on the floor, I can see them jump and flinch if they get bitten.  That's a sign I need to put down diotomaceous earth for a day, and vac it up, and no more floor fleas.  If they might be in the litter, dump the box totally and put in new litter.  Fleas live in carpet, in cracks in the floor, and in dust piles, which our kitties leave by shedding.  Try flea eradication first and if this doesn't work, then take her to the vet for a check up.   She may have a medical problem she is trying to tell you about.  I've know  of one cat who stopped using the litter box because he had an infected tooth, and when that was corrected, he used the box again.  I guess that's one of the best ways they can get our attention to tell us that something's wrong, and then we have to figure it out.  I think humans are the only animal on the planet who do NOT have telepathy.

If you just moved, she may not like where the litterbox is now. Did you change litter? Cats get used to one and may not go in another kind. She just may be more upset then you realize about something, a cat outside, strange noises, etc. The good news is eventually she WILL calm down and use the litterbox again, I've had several cats that peed in the house for a year and then went back to the box. (thank goodness!) So don't give up on her! GOOD LUCK and keep us posted!

I think the fleas are pretty much gone now. Can they sense if something is wrong health wise with me. In February I had 4 tumors removed, 1 week later my mane coon who I had for 16 years had to be put down as her kidneys were failing. Poor Toni grieved up until 6 weeks ago.  I am waiting for surgery again to have 2 solid masses removed. Could she be stressing out and feeling this?

Yes, she could be.  They know so much more than we do, they are empathic.  Has the bedwetting continued or has she stopped now?

She has not come onto my bed since the last episode. She did not appear to be using her litter box so I picked her up and put her in it and she peed. Not sure what to do. I would like to take her to the vet for a check up but due to not working and having surgery again I am afraid of the cost. I also do not want her to suffer if there is something wrong. She spends a lot of time lately under the kitchen table
