6 month old Monique still sleeping 23hr day 5 days after spaying

She is a beautiful little cat I found starving and pregnant. she was spayed and the unborn kittens removed.  she is very affectionate, eating well, pooping well, but just wants to sleep by me and just sleep in general. Her stttches   look fine.  But, she doesnt play at all, and is very  low energy.  spoke with vet on phone, and they told me  to wait a few more days.  Doesn't seem right.   Has anybody have this experience?   Thanks alot 

It's unusual. I would be concerned about hydration and anemia, and I would want her looked at and I wouldn't want to wait a "few more days".

I hope she is doing better today.    You are wonderful for taking her in and getting her taken care of........Poor girl.   Sounds like she has found a loving and caring home.   Please post how she is doing.
