Okay so today I noticed my big boy had a plugged anal gland, I thought it was a piece of poop stuck to his bum. I wiped with cat wipes and was having no luck removing it. so I remembered all the videos I watched and had a heck of a time being the only one and was not able to get him to a vet today. He was not having discharge or puss or anything abscess like so  I was not super concerned.

Expressing it is something I really do not want to do again... especially when it is plugged. so nasty. he ended up peeing and pooping on the floor and the stuff that came out was very thick white with poop colored bits.

Now is the confusing part my middle kid Ivory (2 yr old female(spayed). Hisses and is totally freaked out by him. I have cleaned with the cat wipes, used disinfectant in the bathroom. The smell has disappeared but she won't eat if he is around she just hisses and hides... I am confused any idea why she is acting this way?

My other girl didn't eat dinner either.... Ironically Tiger is Fine and ate his dinner and would have eaten more if he could.

Kali doesn't hiss or anything at Tiger but she is finicky around food anyway (especially canned/moist) foods. so I think that is just her issue and with Ivory acting the way she is it effects Kali

Whenever I take one of my cats to the Vet, another one will hiss and growl at them when we return home.  Perhaps Tiger got a little of the disinfectant on him and that's what Ivory is smelling and hissing at?  Just because YOU can't smell anything doesn't mean SHE can't
.  All the fuss should clear up by itself once Tiger has groomed himself and starts smelling like himself again.  Then once peace reins once more, everything should be back on track as far as eating too.

Ivory is still not too happy with Tiger but only if she is near his bum. To make things worse today Kali Baby had her 1 year vet appt. and bringing her home Ivory hissed and ran and hid. Ivory is a sensitive girl... doesn't like change...Has to be in charge of her getting petted too lol

Tiger is doing fine today too I got a good look while he was laying down, no problems down there.

Kali I can't believe is 8 lbs 13 oz. Can you believe the very first time she went to the vet she was not even 1 lb?!
