Can I let this cutie be around my cats?

My husband and I seem to be magnets for stray kittens (and the occasional hamster…). We found this cutie pie underneath a car today. We believed him, but when I went to clean his ears I realized that the dirt was caked on and down so deep that I didn't have the capability of fully cleansing the ears.

We took him to the vet where they found he had your mites, but they medicated him and said it should be fine. They didn't find any worms. My question now, is whether or not I can put him around our other adult cats. Thoughts?

I would wait a few days to make sure the medication for the earmites is effective.  No sense in spreading it if you don't have to.  Good for you for getting him checked so quickly.  He's a lucky kitty!

Thanks Ondine! This is actually our 5th rescue. My biggest concern is FeLV. He got tested negatively but no vaccinations yet. None of our cats have the vaccination because they are NEVER outside and have 0 interaction with any other animals. Our other cats are 5 and 3...

If he's tested negative, he should be OK.  I do not get the FELV vaccination for my indoor crew.  I am thinking about not doing it for the outside crew as well - they are in an enclosure, so they don't have encounters with wildlife or other cats.

I'd say, once you are sure the ear mites are gone, start the introductions!
