I have a question about gum color.  Little Girl was severely anemic when she had histo, which meant that she had white gums and a pale nose.  Ever since, I have been almost obsessive about checking her gums.  Lately, when she has been napping, I have noticed that her gums will be a pale pink color.  I would describe them as a baby pink.  Not white, but to me, it's too close.  Once she is up and moving around, they will go back to a darker pink and red.  Is it normal for a cat who is resting to have paler gums than when they are up and moving around?  I'm trying my hardest not to be paranoid, but it's really hard!

It sounds pretty normal.  How is her behavior otherwise?  And when did she have anemia exactly,?  Histo?

She's bright and alert and playful. She's not eating as much as she use to bu she's maintaining her weight. Drinking is good, her litter looks normal.

She had anemia about six months ago and she was suffering from histoplasmosis.
